Overview

This is a hybrid career opportunity covering the Bucks/Montgomery County, PA market. Requires flexibility for frequent travel within assigned market as needed. Additional in-market office locations may be an option depending on space availability. 

 

A Business Banking Relationship Manager II plays a pivotal role in contributing to the profitability and growth of the Business Banking segment while building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing business clients. Coordinate loan, deposit and fee income products and services that meet the needs of the customer. Collaborate closely with the Financial Center teams and Fulton partners to ensure seamless integration of services to both current and prospective clients. Seek opportunities to network and develop key centers of influence. Identify and successfully capitalize on cross-sell opportunities with bank partners. Achieve and surpass established sales goals with risk tolerance levels. Assumes responsibility for relatively complex activity and portfolio for Business Banking clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, source and develop new business opportunities utilizing the Fulton sales strategies. Conduct thorough research to understand potential clients' needs, challenges, and financial goals. Develop and execute effective prospecting strategies to expand the client base. Apply advanced negotiation and relationship management skills along with the ability to analyze financial statements and assess risk.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing business clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs. Expand and identify new loan, deposit and other financial services opportunities within existing client base. Regularly engage with clients to understand their business mode, cash flow and evolving requirements to provide tailored financial solutions. Provide annual relationship reviews to understand client’s needs and future plans. Serve as a trusted advisor and effectively counsel and make recommendations to help support their business objectives
  • Focus on driving continuous improvement in portfolio revenue growth and nee production revenue. Achieve and surpass established sales goals within risk tolerance constraints.
  • Analyze clients' financial situations and business operations to offer customized banking products and services. Provide counsel on cash management, financing options, investment opportunities, and other relevant financial matters. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of the client portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by clients, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of satisfaction. Utilize CRM tools and other systems to maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies governing business banking activities. Conduct thorough due diligence on new clients and ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures. Mitigate risks associated with lending and financial transactions by implementing appropriate risk management practices.
  • Sustain comprehensive understanding of current products offered in the market and keep informed of all relevant industry trends and practices.
  • Cultivate relationships network of strategic partnerships across the region.
  • Build knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts.
  • Carries out a variety of business development activities to a identify bank prospects. Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with a consistent approach to calling.

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business Administration or related field. (Required)

Experience

6 or more years Business or Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking or Small Business Banking experience. (Required)

2 or more years Demonstrated Sales or Relationship Management Experience. (Required)

2 or more years Managing a complex portfolio of clients. (Required)
