What will you do?

A day in the life of a shipping Clerk at VF looks a little like this.

You will be part of a highly skilled team in the shipping office.  You, with the rest of the team, will be responsible for submitting, routing, and preparing loads sheets for every shipment leaving this facility.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Coordinate pickups with transportation companies.
• Track shipments and update customers or internal teams on delivery status.
• Maintain records of outgoing shipments.
• Organize and maintain records ensuring items are cataloged properly.
• Handle shipping issues and customer complaints, resolving them efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and shipping regulations.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your two years of experience and professional achievements. 

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Comfortable speaking on the phone, radio, and intercom system. The ability to understand foreign accents is a plus
• Strong organization skills
• The ability to work independently, as well as on a team
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexible schedule when the work load requires

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Hiring Range:

$15.64 USD - $19.55 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
