How you will do it
- Assist project managers, construction supervisors, field technicians, and sales representatives in the delivery of Fire Install projects in commercial facilities.
- Provide superior customer satisfaction through fast paced coordination and high-volume communication.
- Prepare and execute weekly and monthly project reporting.
- Participate in weekly operations and monthly work in progress meetings.
- Develop personal tools to track and monitor projects.
- Maintain electronic project folder database with required documents as needed.
- Assist with change order management and tracking.
- Manage the release, tracking and expediting of SimplexGrinnell manufactured materials for delivery.
- Purchase order management, including creation, communication, expediting, and tracking of purchased labor and material.
- Perform billing in system and assist with accounts receivable and payable as needed.
- Project closeout coordination and finishing the project in the system promptly.
What we look for
Ideal candidate would have experience with the following:
- Purchase Order Management
- Material Returns
- Invoicing
- Electronic Data Management
- Material Release
- Oracle based computer systems
Education:
- High school Diploma or GED.
- 2- or 4-year business degree preferred.
Experience:
- 5 or more years in a high-volume, customer service-oriented position.
- Experience in a construction related industry preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to work 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday and overtime as required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivating.
- Proficiency with PC’s and Microsoft’s suite of Office software including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and databases.
- Successful background check and drug screen.
