The primary function of the Registered Radiology Technologist is that of a professional caregiver who assists the hospital staff and Imaging Department in providing radiology services utilizing the radiologic process.

Qualifications:
1. Must be licensed by the Louisiana Board of Radiologic Technology Examiners.

2. Registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist required or must obtain registration within 90 days of employment.

3. One year’s experience, with at least one year’s experience in a hospital/operating room.

4. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, the Hospital’s staff, physicians and their staff.
