Department Overview

Indianapolis Field Service Organization installs and maintains the Indianapolis, Hamilton County and Madison County P25 ASTRO radio systems. Direct labor support for the Install, Optimization and full on-site maintenance support.

Job Description

Provide technical support of ASTRO P25 systems and product applications including advanced troubleshooting of software-driven electronics, provisioning of communication system infrastructure, and performance optimization of RF and Broadband architecture including, but not limited to, legacy analog, advanced digital P25 and data infrastructure.  Work in conjunction with CSMs, customers, and peers to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all aspects of the system within designated SLAs. 

Preferred Qualified Skills:

• Must be capable of lifting/carrying a minimum of 25lbs, and standing/crouching/squatting as needed during the work day to perform repairs.

Basic Requirements

3+ Years experience or training equivalent in one of the following: Electronics Technician, System Technologist, System Manager, or Field Service.
