Deputy Manager Production
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effective management of a coating center with respect to safety, delivery time, quality and costs.
- Monitor the all workflow and keep the processes in control.
- Assess the condition of the installed equipment and infrastructure.
- Implement all applicable Global Technical Standards & Best practices,OOE in the production.
- Strive for continues improvements of production and maintenance processes in accordance with the Technical Standards.
- Planning for required consumables and spares which are available at right time.
- Co-ordinate plan and approve all Production and Quality equipments for smooth functioning.
- Oversee failures and implement preventive actions & corrective actions for internal and external complaints which are implemented and validated in stipulated time frame.
- Implement all HSE standards aiming target of zero accidents.
- Identify training needs, plan and conduct trainings, evaluate the effectiveness of the training and ensure employees are trained and capable for their respective roles.
- Active participation in production concerned budget and forecasting
- Support new process developments
- Ensure quality & environment management system are sustained in operations.
- Assist in the hiring of new employees, establish work schedules for operations team being in place.
- Evaluate the performance of team members at a given period of time.
Required education, experience, knowledge:
- University degree / diploma in science/ engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing a profit centre (profit and loss responsibility) in the mechanical/service industry.
Required skills & expertise:
- Strong entrepreneurial and goal oriented approach driven by efficiency.
- Highly experienced in managing customer relations.
- Very good communication and supervisory skills / team building skills
- Expertise in problem solving techniques
- Open and positive mindset with experience in international and cross-cultural business environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Computer Technology.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements for the factory.
