Senior Manager, Spain Chief Risk Officer - Financial Risk Management

By embedding risk discipline into strategy and operations, GRC enables responsible growth, innovation, and long-term value creation while protecting customers and shareholders.</p><p><span lang="EN-US">The Spain CRO function is part of the Int’l CRO team, within Global Risk and Compliance (GRC). It is responsible for identifying and overseeing risk across all processes. </span></p><p><span lang="EN-US"><strong>How will you make an impact in this role?</strong></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">The Senior Manager, Financial Risk Management AEESA &amp; AEPE, within the GRC organization, is responsible for establishing the second line of defense framework for the areas under its responsibility for the AEESA &amp; AEPE Legal Entities markets.  We are seeking an experienced risk leader to be a part of this exciting journey.  The incumbent will identify, assess, measure, manage and report risk and strengthen the governance structure for our Spanish businesses (AEESA &amp; AEPE Legal Entities).</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-GB"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span lang="EN-US">Participate in Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) refresh process and seek to align International Legal Entities (ILE) Financial Risk metrics with Enterprise (as far as possible)</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Provide Financial Risk credible challenge to Legal Entity (LE) projects, strategies and in the Change Advisory Forums. </span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Understand and speak to the Financial Risk profile of the LE based on aggregation of data and reporting</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Act as main point of contact for Financial Risk for LE regulator, Audit and ILE Leadership, and requests for Financial Risk program/results requests</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">LE specific committee Financial Risk representative, and point of contact for Financial Risk at LE board meetings (as required) </span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Own ILE R Financial Risk policies and frameworks, where required</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Influence Enterprise Financial Risk and Framework/Policies/Programs to ensure fit for purpose for ILE, and support ILE deployment of Enterprise Financial Risk programs </span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Advise business on applicability and effective execution of Financial Risk frameworks </span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Coordinate with enterprise Risk Lead on 2nd Line testing, and/or support ILE Financial Risk testing &amp; provide output of ILE testing to Enterprise for awareness and risk aggregation</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Ensure appropriate communication of risks between ILE and Enterprise </span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Support the ILE Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in their oversight duties aligned to the Risk Governance Framework and applicable polices</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Reviewing Issues and findings related to risk type impacting ILE, and overseeing effective remediation </span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">2nd Line of Defense ILE oversight lead for Regulatory Change Managements relating to Risk Type</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Work with Enterprise team to develop LE metrics dashboard, including RAF metrics, aligned with applicable regs</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Review, approve and challenge applicable models impacting the ILE</span></li><li><span lang="EN-GB">Lead a Financial Risk analyst </span></li></ul> <p><span lang="EN-US"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><span lang="EN-US">5+ years of leadership experience in risk management or a similar role;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Strong business acumen with a risk-reward control perspective;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Experience in interacting with regulators and familiarity with Spanish and Europe regulatory landscape and requirements;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities under pressure;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Fluency in English (verbal and written);</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Advanced degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span><strong>Leadership Skills:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span lang="EN-US">Proven leader who can build, inspire, and coach a team with a passion for the business;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Excellent relationship and influence management skills with the ability to build productive relationships across teams and levels of seniority;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Self-confident with a strong sense of integrity and the ability and willingness to challenge and be challenged;</span></li><li><span lang="EN-US">Proactive in identifying issues, deliv
