Join our Data Science team within the Compensation and Data Excellence Department, where we are dedicated to delivering data-centric solutions and insights to our commercial business partners.
We are seeking a skilled and driven summer intern to join the team. The ideal candidate will leverage a diverse set of data analytics and data science techniques to delve into, analyze, and communicate insights derived from our data. Throughout this internship, the successful candidate will not only gain valuable insights into business functions but will also witness the impactful intersection of data science and business outcomes.
This internship position is located in Indianapolis, on-site/hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the advancement of high-priority data science initiatives
Conduct data analysis, distilling and communicating key findings to stakeholders
Play a key role in crafting and enhancing analytics and reporting solutions
Collaborate on strategic data-driven projects with a focus on impact and efficiency
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education:
Must be pursuing either a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree (enrolled student) with majors in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent field
Required skills:
Proficient understanding of fundamental data and analytics concepts
Ability to apply advanced principles of data science and analytics to address technical challenges
Hands-on experience in data analysis using SQL, Python, or a similar language
Rapid learner with a strong analytical mindset and advanced problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in cloud technologies (AWS) is a plus
Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts.
