The Rinse Dry Operator I is responsible for operating Rinse Line #1 or #2 Pilot Line Rinse/Dry safely at the highest level of quality in the processing of media. The associate is also responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record-keeping, following all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations.
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Manufacturing Department in San Diego, CA where you will be working onsite.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Work with the Lot numbering system and perform membrane sampling
Utilize statistics using a computer
Evaluate tensile strength and perform various tests, such as membrane and water flow, air flow, BP Hydrophilic, BP Hydrophobic and Wetability
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 months work experience, preferably in a production environment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage, draw and interpret bar graphs and understand basic statistics.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Travel, Motor Vehicle & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Able to lift and carry over 50 lbs.
Able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods of time; able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body.
Able to read and write simple statements and analyze, memorize, conduct and comprehend mathematical tasks.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
A production environment with moderate to loud noise levels
An environment with fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals (Appropriate PPE for these situations is provided on site.)

The hourly range for this role is $18.00-$22.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
