We are looking for a School-Based Site Coordinator to oversee daily operations, guide staff, and ensure a positive environment where children can learn and grow outside of school hours.

Licensed School-Based Coordinator 2026-2027 

 

Location: Horace Mann Elementary School located at 1215 West Clifton Blvd., Lakewood, Ohio 44107

Salary Information: Full-time salaried position 

Hours: General Hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday (may adjust to meet specific site hours) 

Reports to: 21st Century Division Executive  

 
Job Description: 



Responsible for coordination and execution of before and after school programming within the partner school  





Must maintain collaborative relationship with site school principal and personnel, regular meetings required 





Identify and organize program spaces with school personnel; work with the school-based staff to ensure spaces are kept clean and organized 





Demonstrate knowledge of child care licensing rules  





Demonstrate knowledge of Step Up to Quality requirements; required to maintain Gold level  





Data collection and good record keeping for CACFP, licensing, and Step Up to Quality   





Recruitment, hiring, supervision and development of all staff, including onboarding, orientation, payroll, staff schedules, and maintaining staff longevity  





Responsible for site’s monthly budget and ordering necessary supplies within Horizon’s parameters  





Ensure customer satisfaction; maintain enrollment and attendance percentages 





Responsible for business operations. These tasks include:  





Collect tuition payments from parents by the 15th of every month 





Review Procare attendance daily, email Admin daily that the previous day is complete  





Review New Enrollment packets, get signatures and maintain active and inactive files 





Review TAP/Kinderconnect daily, report to Admin every Monday for previous week  





Assist parents with all TAPs, ensure families are meeting their hours 





Enroll and register new families, enter all data into ProCare System 





Maintain children’s files, including all ODJFS requirements, ETA, Medical, etc.  





Report Billing, field trips, and withdrawal dates to admin 





Build systems to support and oversee safety and security of the children  





Plan and implement process for academic success of afterschool students, working with families and school day staff 





Support and help Lead Teachers in creating and implementing lesson plans and activities 





Meet program goals identified by the school 





Develop working relationship with partner Horizon Center and other Site Coordinators  





Identify, contract and work with community partnerships to enrich and strengthen program 


Attend monthly SAC meetings at North Olmsted Library, monthly Summer Planning meetings at Admin, monthly Business Coordinator meetings at Admin, and Quarterly Director Meetings at Admin 


Occasional travel required for professional development, marketing, and meetings  





Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with personnel and family information 





May require frequent lifting and carrying of larger items, including but not limited to deliveries   





All other duties as needed/assigned 


QualificationsQualifications:



An associate’s degree or higher is required in education or a related field; experience with education is preferred 





Must be able to adapt quickly to changing environments and assignments as required 





Has the ability to build positive relationships with coworkers, families, vendors, and the community through prompt and accurate response and service, cheerful and professional attitude, and problem-solving spirit 





Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills; and be able to expertly deal with internal and external individuals in a positive manner
