Agile Equity Derivatives Risk Management BA, SME / Project Lead (SVP) – Hybrid
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agile Equity Derivatives Risk Management Business Analyst, Subject Matter Expert, and Project Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in equity derivatives, risk management principles, agile project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements. This role will be pivotal in driving the development and implementation of risk management strategies and initiatives within our equity derivatives business in an agile environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert on equity derivatives products, including options, swaps, and structured products.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices related to equity derivatives risk management.
- Provide guidance and insights to internal stakeholders on complex risk management issues and strategies.
Risk Management Analysis
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses of equity derivatives portfolios to identify and quantify potential risks.
- Develop and enhance risk models, methodologies, and frameworks to effectively measure and mitigate risk exposure.
- Collaborate with trading desks, quantitative analysts, and other stakeholders to optimize risk-adjusted returns and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Agile Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional agile teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of equity derivatives risk management projects and initiatives.
- Utilize agile methodologies such as Kanban to iteratively deliver value and respond to changing requirements and priorities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency, promoting agile principles and practices within the team and across the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, traders, risk managers, and regulators, to communicate risk management strategies and recommendations.
- Conduct regular reviews and demonstrations to gather feedback and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Build strong relationships and promote open communication channels to facilitate effective collaboration and decision-making.
