What’s unique about this role?

This position is for a Cloud Security Engineer at Lighthouse Document Technologies (Lighthouse). This is an exciting role where you will get to help create and drive cloud security strategy for a leading eDiscovery organization. 

The Security and Cloud Architect will work with multiple groups within Lighthouse Technical, Engineering and Development teams around the world to continuously improve the security posture of all cloud services in alignment with Lighthouse Security policies, standards, and processes as well as Lighthouse business groups.

What will this person do?

• Assist with security control assessments of proposed and existing product and infrastructure architecture for compliance with Lighthouse best practices, recommending technical, administrative and physical remediations and mitigations for identified risks and vulnerabilities. 
• Help document and track security requirements for SaaS multi-tenant systems. 
• Design and develop cloud security architectures. 
• Design requirements in accordance with industry best practices of cloud security controls such as: 
  1. Monitoring & Logging 
  2. Identity and Access Management 
  3. Encryption 
  4. Data Security 
  5. WAF, SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc. 
• Acquire relevant knowledge, remain up to date, attend cloud security conferences and be involved with the cloud security community. 
• Assist with tracking cross-functional impacts from design proposals and decisions. 
• As needed, work with the Development and other technical teams to translate business objectives and constraints into actionable technical objectives. 
• Source and assist with research for design recommendations when requested.  
• Work with Leads/SMEs to validate configuration alignment with approved designs as directed by the Sr. Security and Cloud Architect. 
• As needed, assist the Development and other technical teams to coordinate architectural alignment with departments or teams outside of TS such as Product Development, Product Engineering, Sales, etc. 
• Other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of experience with cloud security (security researcher, security engineer, security architect). 
• 3+ years of experience in systems design and management
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud architecture design  
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or additional 3+ years of cybersecurity experience 
• CISSP or equivalent a plus

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
• Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
• Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Lighthouse complies with compensation disclosure requirements for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

The expected pay for this role will range from $110,526.50 to $157,895 per year.   This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
