Price-Denton Endodontics in Decatur, Alabama is seeking a skilled, full-time Dental Assistant to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate for the Dental Assistant position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care and committing to excellence. 

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures.
• Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensuring their comfort.
• Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Capture X-rays and other scans as needed.
• Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation.
• Perform office administrative tasks that require the use of a computer.

Requirements

• 1 or more years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but not required.
• Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program preferred, but not required. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
