We are currently seeking a Full-Time experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Work/Campus Care Solutions team to float to clinics in the Monroe, NC area. Clinics in this are provide primary care, workers' comp, and occupational medicine services.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (occasional weekends 1-2 times per year)
- Hours: 0730-1630
- Additional staff may include: RN and/or CMA on staff
- Practices see traditional acute episodic care and full primary care for employees and their family members. Annual Wellness exams ages 6 and up; Acute sick care- ages 6 months and up.
- Practices perform occupational medicine services, specialized physicals and workman’s compensation cases.
- After hours call coverage, phone call access only, approximately 1 week every 3 months.
- It is expected that this position will eventually transition to a full-time position located at the Union County Employee Health Clinic.
Education/Certification/Experience
- NC/SC Licensure and DEA. Must obtain SC licensure during credentialing process within 90 days after hire.
- American Heart Association BLS
- DOT Certification (must obtain after hire if not already certified, within first 90 days)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care. Experience in Occupational Medicine is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work autonomously
