About the Role

As the Roamly Senior Finance Analyst, you will be the finance business partner to key Roamly Executive Leadership to set and track KPI targets, strategy plan, and forecast the financial projections of the business. This person will own management and reporting of Roamly’s financial statements, from topline to overhead.

This role will be hybrid, the expectation will be to work out of our Austin, TX office as necessary

Requirements

Your work at Roamly:

• Managing financial statements
  • Build and maintain full P&L forecasting models
  • Consume and understand business KPIs
  • Define and provide analysis on key business metrics performance - trending WoW, YoY, vs Plan/Fcst
• Work with sales leaders and HR to design sales compensation policies through execution
  • Establish controlled data points while understanding business strategy needs
  • Evaluate financial impact of suggested policies
  • Process sales compensation commissions for sales team
• Lead financial update meetings providing in-depth analysis balancing scope and depth

What you will bring to the table:

• 5-7 years experience in FPA
• Understanding of how business units piece together and where most impact can be made for the organization
• In-depth understanding of data
  • Consuming, transforming, and adapting to data gaps (assumptions)
  • Navigating ambiguity
  • Understanding level of drill downs, when to dig when to stay high level
• General planning & organization skills
  • This role requires significant attention to detail
  • This role is fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving
• Heavy experience in Microsoft Excel, building models, and creating exec rollup summaries
• Ability to build and maintain advanced excel models with complex formulas
• Excels with time management

Impact plan

• First month - understanding Roamly Players, P&L & Product Set, and how Roamly fits within Holdings
• Second month - understanding data that powers models, where it comes from, what it means, what is important, KPIs, experience of business leader focus & strategy
• Third Month - Fully Immersed in business partner relationship, getting into providing recommendations on plans, communicating to business leaders on strategy impact
