MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center is a 121-bed community hospital serving Kershaw County and the surrounding Midlands region. The hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, emergency, and specialty services, delivering high-quality community-based care supported by the resources of South Carolina's leading academic health system.
MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast is a 75-bed community hospital serving the rapidly growing Northeast Columbia and Richland County communities. Required Qualifications:
Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date
Family medicine or primary care experience preferred
Passion for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
Commitment to quality improvement, teamwork, and clinical excellence
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan
Perform preventive health assessments, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic testing to guide treatment plans
Provide patient education focused on preventive care and healthy lifestyle management
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
Document and bill for direct patient care services
