Enbridge is hiring a Specialist in Project Development. This role is an integral role in the successful execution of renewable energy projects from initial concept through to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external collaborators to advance project activities and contribute to the company's growth and success. This role will allow for progressive professional growth and responsibility, as our Onshore Renewables Team scales.

What You Will Do:
Lead the development of processes and models and support management with long term strategic roadmaps
Provides strategic and expert guidance and recommendations on processes, regulations and permitting
Subject matter expert and provides leadership with guidance on complex issues
Lead and support the origination, qualification, and development of greenfield opportunities, including solar, wind and storage projects.
Create and handle development strategies and lead in their execution
Feasibility Studies: Conduct preliminary feasibility assessments, including site evaluation, resource analysis, and regulatory analysis, to determine project viability and potential risks.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as real estate, engineering, environmental sciences, business administration, or a related subject area.
10+ years’ experience in renewable energy project development. Experience with utility-scale project development (Pre-NTP) is highly desirable.
A proactive demeanor with a passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and early understanding of regulatory frameworks.

Location:
Strong preference for Denver or Dallas. Houston, or remote (in Enbridge operating state) will also be considered.
