We’re seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong background in data visualization and reporting with a passion for process improvement and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating reports that drive business decisions to the top level of their organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Reporting: Oversee the reporting for all MRA, IPA, and ACO data topics.

• Stakeholder Management: Ensure the successful implementation of BI solutions in accordance with stakeholder requirements

• Leadership: Mentor small team to ensure efficient and effective team performance and reporting consistency across all data topics

• Process Improvement: Establish robust processes for change notifications, document all artifacts, and create a scalable BI platform that allows for data discovery and positive business and clinical outcomes

• Issue Resolution: Triage production support issues and become a subject matter expert for all population health reporting

• Public Speaking: Be able to demonstrate productionized BI solutions to all levels of the organization

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in data operations, modeling, reporting/visualization

• Proficiency in cloud-based SQL Environments (BigQuery, Snowflake, or RedShift)

• Minimum of three years’ experience in business intelligence reporting system (Power BI or Tableau)

• Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies

• Experience analyzing data, research/analytics, and competitive intelligence to solve a wide variety of business problems and/or identify actionable opportunities

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership

• Experience in healthcare data operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience  

• Experience with at least 1 non-SQL language (preferably Python or R)
