The Job You Will Perform:

The New Bern Mill is currently seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Front Line Leader. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of maintenance employees. The Maintenance Front Line Leader is responsible for team performance, team member engagement, and achieving manufacturing results.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supports and leads efforts that include an injury-free environment through role modeling safe behavior, active involvement in safety activities and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

• Completes the First Line Leader (FLL) Onboarding/Proficiency Curriculum
• Coordinates and leads efforts to support high performance work teams.
• Leadership role in ensuring team member relations, efforts, and processes are in place to maximize team member engagement and results.
• Leads, provides guidance, and/or supports teams as needed to achieve small team goals, daily responsibilities, and overall achievement of mill goals.
• Provides feedback, coaching, support and, when necessary, take corrective measures, to ensure all team members have a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
• Provides coaching and training to team members as needed for technical, behavioral, and individual development opportunities.
• Communicates as needed with team members and mill leadership for resolution of safety, quality, cost, production, and personnel issues.
• Responsible for developing Weekly Maintenance Schedules.
