Then join a dynamic and international company where everyone is responsible for delivering right on time as one team.</i></p><p><i>With AGC Biologics’ continued growth, we are establishing a new Supervisor role to strengthen daily operational leadership across </i><i>Microbial Manufacturing.</i></p><p></p><p><b>The Manufacturing Team</b></p><p>The Manufacturing Department is responsible for executing GMP operations across multiple production lines supplying drug substance for pre-clinical, clinical, and commercial manufacturing. We collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Process Support functions to ensure reliable operations and continuous improvement.</p><p>As Supervisor, you serve as the first-line leader for a team of 6–10 technicians, depending on department and production processes. You work side-by-side with your team to maintain safety, documentation accuracy, operational flow, and strong team engagement.</p><p></p><p><b>The Position – Day/Evening Shift</b></p><p>The Night Supervisor works in a rotating shift schedule depending on department needs. Your physical presence on the shop floor secures real-time decision-making, problem-solving, coaching, and stable execution of production activities.</p><p>This role covers:</p><p>Microbial Manufacturing (Downstream)</p><ul><li>Harvest, recovery, and purification activities</li><li>Support across the microbial manufacturing department</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p>You will:</p><p>• Lead daily operations on the shop floor and ensure safe, compliant execution</p><p>• Guide <span>technicians/operators</span> in real time and support troubleshooting when needed</p><p>• Ensure documentation accuracy and drive strong GMP behavior</p><p>• Monitor process performance and maintain production flow throughout the shift</p><p>• Secure effective handovers between shifts and maintain alignment across 24/7 operations</p><p>• Support training, process confirmations and continuous improvement work</p><p></p><p><b>Your Qualifications</b></p><p></p><p>You likely bring:</p><p>• A technical or academic background within biotechnology, bioprocessing or engineering</p><p>• Experience from GMP manufacturing</p><p>• Leadership exposure — formal or informal</p><p>• A proactive mindset and the ability to stay calm and structured during busy periods</p><p>• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to motivate others</p><p>• Familiarity with Lean or structured problem solving is a plus</p><p></p><p><b>Who You Are</b></p><p></p><p>You are an engaged, visible leader who enjoys working closely with people and setting direction in a dynamic production environment.
