We are seeking an experienced Point of Sales Senior Operations Manager to lead and implement point-of-sale operations in collaboration with Walmart. This role is based in Costa Rica and is critical to ensuring the effective execution of our trade marketing strategies, improving in-store visibility, availability, and overall value delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Point of Sale Execution: Be responsible for the execution of all retail operations at Walmart stores, ensuring that all agreed-upon strategies and plans with Walmart are effectively implemented.

• Coordination: Handle and coordinate efforts across various functions, including logistics, product availability, human resources, and merchandising to ensure timely delivery and proper setup of in-store displays.

• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with external human resources providers and merchandising agencies, as well as with Walmart and other key customers.

• Technology and Data Utilization: Leverage technology platforms and data analysis to plan and implement interventions, identify impactful activities, and influence decision-making processes.

• Team Collaboration: Work coordinating with sales, logistics, brand marketing, finance, and external resources to ensure seamless operations.

• Performance Measurement: Supervise and measure execution against key performance indicators to ensure compliance with agreed visibility and promotional plans.

• Strategic Influence: Influence strategic decisions by transforming in-store execution data into actionable insights for sales growth and enhanced customer experience.

• Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to ensure the team adapts to new operational models and strategies.

Job Qualifications

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in Trade Marketing: In-depth knowledge of trade marketing strategies and point-of-sale execution.

• Operational Experience: Proven experience in managing retail operations and coordinating with multiple customers to ensure seamless execution.

• Critical Thinking: Ability to translate in-store execution data into strategic insights and actions.

• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with technology platforms and data analysis for planning and completing interventions.

• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to cultivate a collaborative working environment and manage multifunctional teams.

• Relationship Management: Excellent relationship management skills to work effectively with external providers, customers, and internal teams.

• High-Level English Proficiency: Advanced level of English required for effective communication with international collaborators and communicating results.
