About the role

<p>We are looking for a talented <strong>Warehouse Coordinator</strong> to join our team specializing in <strong>Logistics </strong>for our Cummins Inc. facility in <strong>Fletcher, NC</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Under some supervision, coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.</p> <p><strong>In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: </strong></p> <p>•  <strong>Champion a safety-first culture:</strong> Proactively stop work and report hazards immediately, preventing injuries and reinforcing accountability across the team. <br/> •  <strong>Ensure strict HSE compliance:</strong> Consistently follow policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while encouraging others to do the same. <br/> •  <strong>Lead by example in hazard prevention:</strong> Identify and correct risks within your control and promote shared responsibility for workplace safety. <br/> •  <strong>Drive environmental responsibility:</strong> Recognize how daily actions impact the environment and actively reduce waste and negative effects. <br/> •  <strong>Maintain high quality standards:</strong> Follow standard work instructions, perform thorough quality checks, and quickly escalate discrepancies to minimize risk and cost. <br/> •  <strong>Optimize warehouse operations:</strong> Accurately receive, store, pick, pack, and ship goods while improving space utilization and meeting performance standards. <br/> •  <strong>Strengthen teamwork and communication:</strong> Collaborate effectively with peers and support teams, ensuring alignment and smooth operations. <br/> •  <strong>Continuously improve processes and capability:</strong> Engage in training, identify improvement opportunities, and maintain a clean, efficient, and well-functioning work environment.</p> <p><strong>To be successful in this role you will need the following: </strong><br/>•  <strong>Collaborate and build strong partnerships:</strong> Work effectively with teammates, support staff, and stakeholders to achieve shared operational and safety goals.<br/>•  <strong>Communicate clearly and purposefully:</strong> Deliver concise, audience-appropriate updates that ensure alignment across teams and minimize errors.<br/>•  <strong>Stay customer-focused:</strong> Prioritize customer needs by ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality handling of goods and services.<br/>•  <strong>Make sound, timely decisions:</strong> Evaluate situations quickly—especially in operations and safety—and choose actions that keep workflow moving efficiently.<br/>•  <strong>Drive consistent results:</strong> Meet or exceed performance metrics, even under pressure, by staying disciplined and focused on execution.<br/>•  <strong>Ensure accountability:</strong> Take ownership of your responsibilities while holding yourself and others to high standards of performance and follow-through.<br/>•  <strong>Commit to continuous growth:</strong> Actively seek feedback, training, and new challenges to strengthen your skills in operations, safety, and trade processes.<br/>•  <strong>Leverage operational and technical expertise:</strong> Apply knowledge of transportation modes, trade compliance, inventory control, and warehouse systems to optimize cost, minimize risk, and improve efficiency—while valuing diverse perspectives to enhance problem-solving.<br/><br/><strong>Education, Licenses, Certifications: </strong><br/>•    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. <br/>•    College, University or equivalent degree in <strong>Business</strong>, <strong>Engineering </strong>or <strong>related field preferred</strong>. <br/>•    Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills. <br/>•    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.<br/><br/><strong>Experience: </strong><br/>•    Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. <br/>•    Logistics and Warehousing experience preferred, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management.</p> <p><span><span>•    Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers and vendors.</span></span><br/><span><span>•    Verify quantities, part numbers, and product condition against packing slips, purchase orders, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.</span></span><br/><span><span>•    Accurately enter receiving transactions into the ERP/WMS system.</span></span><br/><span><span>•    Label, identify, and route materials to designated storage or production areas.</span></span><br/><span><span>•    Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving shortages, overages, damaged goods, or
