Senior Finance Analyst/Finance Business Partner

FINANCE
We're a truly global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Tax, Legal, Treasury and Commercial Finance. THE ROLE
The Finance Business Partner will be the lead support for Head of Commercial Finance TECH, working closely with TECH Planning Team, to deliver on the strategic and financial goals of that area. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support the Head of Commercial Finance TECH to deliver key services to the Business for planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
•  Playing a key role in the monthly, quarterly, annual processes and supporting the preparation of robust forecasts and budgets, challenging figures to ensure accuracy.
•  Identify and researching variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
•  Collaborate with the business to create a forecast(s) that tracks the expected performance of the business, so that timely decisions can be taken to address shortfalls against target or maximise an emerging opportunity.
• Aligning with divisional FP&A team to provide in depth of monthly results versus forecast/budget and to inform and improve future forecasts.
•  Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organisation.
• Work with Business Partners to identify and assess opportunities for improvements / corrective actions, understand the results and the root cause of variances.

WHO YOU ARE

• Minimum of 4 years of experience and Accounting background will be a plus;
• Relevant experience working in a similar role;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines;
• Strong financial modelling, analytical skills and advanced skills in Excel;
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and a proactive, can-do attitude working in a fast-paced environment
• Microsoft D365 and SAP knowledge will be a plus;
