Drone Imagery Analyst - Data Specialist

The Drone Imagery Analyst - Data Specialist is responsible for processing various forms of UAV data from LiDAR, Photogrammetry, Visual Inspections etc. and organize them into deliverables package to the client. 

Successful Candidate will have strong computer skills and experience with handling Drone data processing such photogrammetry, LiDAR, Geomatics, Thermal etc.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Position reports to Advanced Inspection Specialty Service Lead

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To process and analyze high-resolution drone images. Interpret data and generate reports for surveying and digital twin efforts. 
• Advanced skills in 3D modeling and strong analytical skills.
• Processing, Photo, Video, Photogrammetry, LIDAR, or other types of point cloud data in various software programs depending on client deliverables. 
• Compile and submit daily reports, inspection reports, and inter-office communications including completed performance/inspection reports in a timely manner.
• Maintains a positive relationship between client, facility, and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards co-workers.
• Receives direction from AISS Team Lead and works with other AISS technicians.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to travel as business needs dictate
• This position is required to complete pre-employment, annual, recurring, and random drug testing including, but not limited to Urinalysis, Hair Follicle, and Breathalyzer screenings.
• This position requires the candidate/employee to be eligible to obtain a TWIC card at the time of hire and maintain eligibility throughout employment.
• Able to lift 50lbs or more.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS

• Knowledge using Pix4D, Bentley, Agisoft Metashape, FLIR Thermal Studio or other UAV software platforms.
• Survey/GIS field experience and related software is a plus 
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required  
• Experience with UAV Elios 2/3 and/or DJI M300/M350 and point cloud dataset processing experience
