As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, passengers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, administrative buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support transportation-related operations by remaining visible throughout assigned areas, providing directional assistance, and assisting with crowd management, restricted area control, and/or incident response as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
