Adtran seeks an outstanding Senior Software Engineer to work on the execution of ML/AI-driven Network Intelligence Solutions. You will collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers, data scientists and subject matter experts to develop proof-of-concepts, explore AI-driven insights, and define next generation of data intelligence products. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions for AI/ML-driven network intelligence products. 

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and TypeScript. 

• Implement and maintain microservices and serverless architectures using AWS cloud services (Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, etc.). 

• Develop and deploy ML/AI models and data pipelines, working closely with data scientists and ML engineers. 

• Ensure high-performance data processing and storage, utilizing AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, and Glue. 

• Collaborate in the PoC development cycle, transitioning experimental solutions into production-ready systems. 

• Maintain best practices for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration. 

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure system efficiency and reliability. 

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS, focusing on cost-efficiency, security, and scalability. 

• Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate) when necessary. 

• Ensure security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption for cloud-based applications. 

• Optimize AWS resource utilization, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. 

• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to develop machine learning pipelines and real-time inference systems. 

• Implement data processing workflows for feature engineering and model training. 

• Contribute to the development and optimization of AI models, ensuring scalability and efficiency in production. 

• Develop solutions for real-time network insights and anomaly detection, leveraging AI-driven analytics. 

• Work closely with the Product Owner to refine requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups). 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, DevOps engineers, and cloud architects. 

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing. 

• Stay up to date with new technologies, AI/ML advancements, and best practices in cloud computing. 

• Troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
