Job Description

In addition to testing our web application based on user stories and performing exploratory testing depending on your extensive testing knowledge, you will also mentor other team members in advanced automation techniques. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, translating user stories into test cases and automating them. You should also have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Automation test: 70%, manual test: 30%.  

You will be responsible for: 

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Mentor and collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, frameworks and test plans 
• Write test cases based on user stories 
• Write automated test cases and contribute to automation framework 
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects 
• Report bugs and errors to development teams 
• Help troubleshoot issues 
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing 
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle 

Technologies used

• Jira, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, GitLab, Playwright, TestQube, TestRail 

Qualifications

• QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation) 
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing 
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors 
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Testrail, JIRA) 
• Excellent communication skills in English 
• Attention to detail 
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
