Senior Software Developer

Trusted Concepts, a division of Two Six Technologies, is looking for a Senior level Developer who will partner with our Program Manager and Technical Lead to outline technical design and delivery of a key custom application capability vital to our customer’s mission set. Together you will work to ensure sound technical approaches are considered, developed, and make strategic recommendations on technical architecture decision points. You will also help ensure the program is successfully delivering using sound DevOps, agile, and agency-specific practices.

Locations are Englewood CO or Fairfax VA( this office will be relocating to Herndon early 2025)

 

Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience developing Java applications and services
• Experience using code repositories such as Git
• Experience working in an agile environment 
• Demonstrated experience documenting code artifacts, JIRA tickets, and related processes
• Ability to build libraries for third parties to interact with and leverage
• Ability to run to ground end to end issues, especially with multiple integrations
• Assist in the design and development of new capabilities

Keys for Success:
• 7+ years of Java development experience
• 3+ years of Spring Boot experience
• 7+ years of unit testing experience
• 2+ years of leveraging Java Streams

Desired Knowledge/Skills:
• Experience with satellite systems and operations such as mission management, planning and scheduling, or command and telemetry
• Experience with geospatial development and concepts
• Experience developing multi-threaded systems
• Experience with Apache Ignite/Redis, or similar data grid technologies or atomic key-value based caching
• Knowledge of AWS EC2/Lambda and other various technologies
