Head of Holiday Inn Club Vacations/Sands

About the role

Role Purpose

Drive material growth from IHG’s vacation ownership partner, Holiday Inn Club Vacations (HICV), including existing resorts and portfolio growth. Manage the overall partnership for Holiday Inn Club Vacations, internally and externally. Lead IHG's relationship with Las Vegas Sands to drive performance for Venetian and Palazzo resorts.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive a 3-year strategic plan to Holiday Inn Club Vacations vacation ownership sales and rental growth
  • Support licensing of new vacation ownership brands, and launch of new resorts and brand acquisitions
  • Partner with IHG Call Center and Digital Marketing teams to build annual plans to maximize quality leads to Holiday Inn Club Vacations
  • Drive deal pipeline of incoming and outbound opportunities, complete all deal negotiations, maintaining high levels of partner satisfaction and maximizing the profitability of the partnership portfolio to IHG mainstream & upscale hotels, IHG P&L, System Fund, and Owner economics.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify new lead generation partnerships for HICV
  • Build multi-year joint technology roadmap across IHG & HICV
  • Partner with HICV to meet IHG performance metrics (Guest Love, Loyalty Delivery, renovation plans, etc.)
  • Lead IHG's relationship with Las Vegas Sands, including setting and achieving annual performance targets for Venetian and Palazzo resorts

Key Skills & Experiences

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

Critical Expertise & Experience

  • 10+ years in hospitality or other consumer-focused sector, preferably within a large multi-national company
  • Demonstrated strategic proficiency in Partnership Portfolio management in a multi-partner and multi-channel setting, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global organization
  • Strong decision making, influencing/consensus building and analytical skills with clear understanding of impact on IHG revenue goals and bottom-line
  • Strong leadership, team building, interpersonal and communication skills

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong drive for results, demonstrated through generating strategy, execution and impact.
  • Proven track record in innovation; think creatively about future market evolution, new product development, and customer/ channel development to identify business opportunities, articulate evolving priorities and drive strategic programs that deliver client and ROI impact.
