Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Senior Principal Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) within the Mechanical Systems, F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU), Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT). The Senior Principal IPTL is a critical leadership role that will coordinate across all disciplines, both within and beyond CIPT. This role will involve leveraging the Integrated Product Deployment (IPD) process to fulfill our Military customer commitments, achieve critical program milestones, and advance business objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure detailed designs and hardware delivery meet Engine Development Plan requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with IPTs to develop hardware plans, provide resource planning inputs, and address critical needs.
  • Analyze value streams, identify at-risk parts, and integrate data sources to develop and execute corrective actions.
  • Create presentation materials and report progress to senior leadership and engineering executives.
  • Lead, mentor, and execute within an Agile Framework, facilitating planning, demos, and retrospective reviews.
  • Support CAMs (Control Account Managers) to ensure monthly EVMS (Earned Value Management System) deliverables are executed on time and correctly.
  • Travel: 10% (domestic and international).

In this role, you will gain invaluable experience in team leadership, strategy development, establishing new processes, and driving accountability.
  • Lead multi-site cross-disciplinary teams and effectively implement Agile Framework methodologies to drive project success.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field with 7 years of engineering experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in Agile Framework methodologies, ensuring streamlined and adaptable workflows.
  • Technical expertise in Mechanical Systems hardware (bearing compartments, transmission hardware, lube system hardware, etc.)
  • Proven leadership experience in managing processes, teams, and project lifecycles.
  • Familiar with EVMS (Earned Value Management System). CAM (Control Account Managers) experience.
  • Skilled in providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering growth and development.
