The Systems Engineer III at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our IT team supporting efforts to provide our team members with access to a plethora of Computer Systems with exceptional up time, operational resilience and secure access. This position involves a deep understanding of many standard business systems and is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, motivated and detail oriented.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage System Environment
The Systems Engineer III at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our IT team supporting efforts to provide our team members with access to a plethora of Computer Systems with exceptional up time, operational resilience and secure access. This position involves a deep understanding of many standard business systems and is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, motivated and detail oriented.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage System Environment
- Architect, Deploy, Manage and Optimize our Physical Servers
- Architect, Deploy, Manage and Optimize our Virtual Servers and Hosts
- Architect, Deploy, Manage and Optimize our Telco Systems
- Research, Introduce and or integrate new technologies into our Environment
- Oversee and Manage concerns related to our Data Centers
- Manage, Modify and Improve our Active Directory Domain
- Manage, Modify and Improve our Microsoft 365 Environment
- Manage Core enterprise-wide services and functions including email, document storage, File share, FTP
- Provide Support related to the environment representing your area(s) of expertise including Policy Planning, Education and Guidance
- Manage, Patch and Update Systems under your purview
- Backup, Replicate and Secure Data Stored and Transported under your purview
- Help Design, Support, Test and Validate both DR and Business Continuity Concerns
- Ensure Monitoring, Reporting and other concerns related to Systems are covered
- Provide Documentation of all Systems under your purview as well as continuous updates
- Ensure Logging, Alerting and similar concepts are covered over systems under your purview
- Audit Systems for compliance, patch level, OS version, threat protection and overall health status
