As a Security Guard - Residential Site - Part Time in Pawleys Island, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols throughout the property, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist residents and visitors with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
