General Overview
As an Accounts Receivable Officer , you will play a key role in managing the collection of tenant Reasonable Rent Contribution (RRC) payments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively. You will work under the guidance of senior management and closely with the tenancy team to ensure accurate accounts receivable transactions, resolve discrepancies, and support the timely collection of payments.
Key Responsibilities

Liaise with the tenancy team and stakeholders to ensure payments are prepared accurately and processed within scheduled timeframes.

Prepare, process, and receipt Reasonable Rent Contribution (RRC) claims and payments.

Collaborate with the tenancy team to resolve rent arrears efficiently and promptly.

Investigate RRC discrepancies and support timely resolution.

Perform account reconciliations using Centrepay and bank statements.

Record all RRC transactions in CX (Civica) and Xero .

Produce monthly aged debtors reports, highlighting issues and planned actions.

Prepare monthly tenant rental statements.

Complete administrative tasks to support finance team operations.

Ensure all work complies with relevant regulatory standards.

Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable.

Accounting qualification (minimum TAFE certification or higher).

Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.

Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel .

Experience with CX (Civica) is highly desirable.

Basic understanding of business law and credit principles.

High attention to detail and ability to process high-volume transactions.

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
