Yenne and Schofield Orthodontics is looking for our next STRIKING orthodontic assistant! We are a fast-paced office with four locations in the Salem-Keizer and Polk County area that is committed to providing outstanding customer service and quality treatment to all our patients. Qualifications:
- Oregon Radiology Certified
- EFDA / EFODA Certified
- Willing to travel between all four locations - South Salem, West Salem, Dallas and Keizer
- Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for helping others and creating happy smiles.
Duties include:
- Assists Orthodontist in any given procedure: arch wires, bonding, Invisalign
- Willing to learn what doctor may need during appointment and acts
- Detailed charting
- Help to maintain patient flow pattern by seating patients promptly and begin procedures
- Take X-rays, CBCT, iTero scans, and impressions.
- Keeps drawers stocked, clean, and replenished. Cleans chair and moves around clinic with sense of urgency
- Answers any questions for parents regarding treatment. Debriefs patient and parents after appointments
- Sterilization
