Job Description

The RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Specialist is responsible for investigating and analyzing incidents, accidents, or failures within an organization to determine the underlying causes and develop solutions to prevent recurrence. The RCA Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, conduct thorough investigations, and present findings and recommendations to management.

Responsibilities

• Provides Root Cause Analysis, using performance improvement tools and methodology.

• Serves as an operational resource for internal team members for expedited problem identification and resolution, provision of RCA specific updates, and team interactions and deadlines.

• Analyzes customer materials, documents, and digital files.

• Develops appropriate communication plans and strategies to ensure information is openly communicated.

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships within the system in order to obtain information and data from leaders and front-line staff in order to foster successful root cause analysis completion.

• Provides input in the creation of project specific quality documents (Ex. SOPs, Training Guides, SOWs)

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

• Proven ability to work both independently on projects and as part of a team.

• Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment in a timely manner.

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $61,600-$101,200 / day. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
