Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students who have accepted a Federal Work Study (FWS) Financial Aid Offer are eligible to be hired into this position. Unsolicited applications to this posting will NOT be considered.
Work in a busy, customer-service centered environment where tasks are either public facing or assisting with making sure materials are available for our guests. Employees will be assigned to one of the two areas, notified when the job is offered. If you do not have the qualifications, but are willing to learn, we are thrilled to teach you!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Shelving materials (movement and lifting)
- Stack maintenance (observing details at close range)
- Deliveries to other areas on campus (movement)
- Answer wayfinding questions and assist in basic reference support (communication)
- Computer/ technology support (problem-solving)
- Answering phones (communication)
- Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled (rare)
- Other projects as assigned - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be current UND students (any discipline) and enrolled at UND for the fall 2024 semester.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits during the fall semester.
- Must have an accepted Federal Work Study award
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
