JOB OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision engages in the movement, storage, documentation, and inventory of incoming and outgoing product. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Performs the movement, storage, documentation, and inventory of incoming and outgoing product.   

• Occasionally engages in “high stacking” performed with a high degree of speed, accuracy, and safety.  

• Uses SAP system and scanning equipment to maintain inventory counts and record inventory transactions.   

• Performs inventory functions, as necessary.   

• Supports the generalist concept by performing various sanitation duties, maintenance, housekeeping, and other functions as assigned.  

• May perform general laborer work on seasonal basis.  

• Completes various documents and reports including daily lift sheet.   

• Maintains and adhere to Blue Diamond HACCP processes and auditing, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s) and safety practices.

WHAT YOU NEED 

*Minimum qualifications  

• ​High School Diploma or GED​ 

• 1 year of forklift operator experience.  

• Excellent communication skills and a basic understanding of machine operations.   

• Required to climb up and down ladders and catwalks.  

• Must be able to identify and solve problems independently, coordinate workflow and meet output standards.   

• Required to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.  

• OSHA Forklift Certification  

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT  

This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions. You may be required to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee must be comfortable occasionally lifting of minimum of 50 lbs., frequently stooping, and consistent sitting to carry out the assigned duties.
