The Opportunity

This role is for strong engineers that want more than just writing “good” code and are looking to help create something with real impact, where customer feedback is taken seriously and acted on. 

You will be part of a small tactical team where delivery is key and will have responsibility over  a wide range of products and technologies. You will be expected to not only deliver quality code and a quality customer experience but also to work closely with the product team to help shape the future of the product. 

This role is for someone who loves to code, learn and grow. 

What You'll Do:

• Build APIs and services that enable a new form of entrepreneurship empowerment for over 3 million small business owners

• Build and integrate with financial service technologies for payments, banking, and loans

• Collaborate with product, design, and across engineering on the strategic vision for our product roadmap

• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence through code and design reviews

• Deliver high-quality, secure, and testable code

• Mentor other engineers and contribute to the engineering culture

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of technical experience

• Experience leading projects from planning phase to delivery for web applications

• Experience working with data

• Experience working with financial service APIs 

• Experience as a generalist, working on whatever part of the stack necessary to solve the problem at hand

• A passion for building delightful web/mobile applications and systems that support them

• Care deeply about the quality of your work while balancing delivery expectations.

• An obsessive focus on customers and iterative learning.
