About the team
Our Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams ensure we're doing business the right way. They help us balance a healthy risk appetite, so we're empowered to expand our horizons. Our Financial Crime Compliance Governance and Oversight team at WorldPay plays a crucial role in safeguarding our business and customers by ensuring compliance with global financial crime regulations. As part of the financial crime compliance landscape, we focus on strengthening data governance to uphold the integrity, accuracy, and availability of data critical to identifying and mitigating risks related to financial crime.
Our team works collaboratively across departments to develop and enforce data quality standards, oversee regulatory compliance, and build frameworks that support reliable decision-making. By ensuring high standards in data governance, we contribute to maintaining WorldPay’s reputation, promoting customer trust, and supporting operational success in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
What you’ll own
- Hands-on working experience with Informatica Axon, EDC and IDQ
- Previous implementation exposure of Axon data governance marketplace with clear understanding of data domain, meta model, operating model and data governance structure and processes.
- Participate in data governance policy creation, management, and impact analysis of policies under consideration
- Must have an understanding of the Data Governance products configuration and how they work together, e.g. Axon onboarding with EDC to show lineage/metadata.
- Document and maintain data standards, partnering with functional and business data owners to map existing data structures, usage, and common definitions
- Using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) design, build, and execute efficient and accurate control structures and reporting to assess data quality and compliance to data governance policy
- Provide consultative support for business stakeholders by advising on policies, standards, and guidelines
- Consult on data governance tool implementation supporting metadata management, business glossary, and data quality functions
- Support current and future state analyses and participate in trainings, workshops, and demos on data governance methods, standards, and quality
- Document procedures for future reference and may make recommendations for data analysis process improvements
- Leverage agile development methodology and principles of product ownership to manage intake of data governance deliverables
- Provide guidance for the development, maintenance and run of Informatica Data Governance applications
- Expert in writing Advanced SQL queries
- Must have basic knowledge of ETL
Where you’ll own it
You’ll own it in our Cincinnati hub. While we’re a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.
What you bring
- Data Quality Management – Proven experience in implementing data quality frameworks, monitoring data integrity, and resolving data issues.
- Financial Crime Compliance – Knowledge of financial crime regulations and experience working within financial crime compliance frameworks.
- Data Governance Tools & Technologies – Proficiency in using data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) and working with data management software.
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Strong analytical skills with experience in data reporting, creating dashboards, and generating insights to support compliance needs.
