The Marketing Project Manager (fixed-term, part-time) is responsible for leading the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives (e.g., content, design, web, campaigns) that drive business impact. This part-time role ensures seamless cross-functional collaboration, operational efficiency, and timely delivery of campaigns and projects by implementing scalable project management frameworks and tools. The Project Manager will drive continuous process improvement, manage stakeholder communication, and play a key role in optimizing workflows that support the team’s strategic goals. This position is essential to delivering high-impact marketing programs with clarity, consistency, and accountability. They will report directly to the Sr. Director of Content. This role is a fixed-term, part-time position working less than 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Project Execution

  • Lead and oversee complex marketing projects and campaigns from inception through completion.
  • Ensure that campaign planning, scheduling, and delivery meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders (e.g., campaign owners, content creators, marketing operations) to coordinate deliverables.

Process Optimization

  • Implement and refine project workflows to enhance cross-functional collaboration, speed, and quality.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with team leads to document and codify best practices for campaign management and other workflows.

Framework & Governance Development

  • Conduct audits of current marketing project structures, tools, and workflows with a focus on content, design, and web.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize a unified project management framework, aligning with Guild’s strategic marketing goals.
  • Recommend process enhancements, tool configurations (e.g., Asana rules, automations, templates), and governance structures.

Change Management & Enablement

  • Drive adoption of new systems and workflows through effective training, documentation, and change management strategies.
  • Lead the development of onboarding and training materials to scale best practices across the marketing team.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, final assessments, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Foster strong partner relationships to ensure internal alignment and external satisfaction.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management experience in a marketing context.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana), including automation, rules, templates, and taxonomy.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with an operational mindset focused on scalability and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in project management or marketing operations.
  • Familiarity with marketing campaign lifecycles and collaboration models.
