What you will be doing
The Director, Clinical Insight Services Sales will be responsible for managing the sales and account management process for available Clinical Insight Services as applied to a specified list of Corporate Partners. The Clinical Insight Services include, but are not limited to, primary market research services, provider education and engagement services, clinical research and other offerings to be developed based on business priorities and unmet market needs. In this position, the individual will lead opportunity identification, qualification, and contract negotiation alone or in coordination with other IntrinsiQ Sales, Client Service and GPO Corporate Accounts, as well as various product and/or content subject matter experts. They will work across the team to achieve established quarterly and annual revenue targets generated from their assigned customer base.
Develops and cultivates client relationships within assigned book of Life Science and healthcare industry partner accounts; prepares presentations and proposals in support of new business development associated with the IntrinsiQ Clinical Insight Services offerings.
Responsible for lead proposal writing, contracting, client presentations, and outlining of pricing options in accordance with Company pricing model and existing contract structures.
Establish and maintain appropriate sales processes to support the IntrinsiQ Clinical Insight Services offerings.
Participate in the interviewing and hiring of additional sales managers to support the growth of the business. And, manage those individuals as they are assigned.
Communicates client needs and expectations throughout the organization for enhancing the Specialty Insight solutions, clinical research, education, and real world data insights and custom analytics; signals any issues or concerns that may require attention.
Provides consultative guidance to development and implementation of key meeting agendas and leads the coordination and preparation of associated presentation material for client meetings related to IntrinsiQ Clinical Insight Services offerings.
Acts as a client advocate to ensure key program deliverable component to maintain and provide integrity, reliability and allow for credible research and analytic capabilities in offerings provided.
Gathers information, analyzes and develops strategies concerning dynamics that may affect meeting objectives, such as changes in customer ownership, new affiliations and targets of opportunity for new growth.
Meets with internal organizational staff, i.e., Commercial Analytics Sales, Client Service, Clinical Insights, AdvanceIQ Network, Integrated Business Development and GPO Corporate Accounts to ensure their understanding of their client’s clinical research and education needs and on-going ad-hoc research objectives.
Ensures regulatory compliance with the PhRMA code in interactions with health care professionals, FDA regulations and other corporate policies governing ethical business practices.
Expands breadth and depth of contact base within existing Corporate Partners by employing business development techniques such as cold calling into new target accounts and/or new departments and contacts within active client companies.
Proactively coordinates with other AB Business Unit client leads to more effectively cross-sell across the customer organization.
Documents all sales and account interactions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of activities across the IntrinsiQ and GPO Corporate Account customer teams.
Participates in meetings; reports on sales pipeline status, timelines and project execution and status.
Documents all sales opportunities throughout the sales process, as well as account interactions to ensure a comprehensive and up to date record of activities is maintained.
Communicates with Corporate Partner’s key functional areas such as medical affairs, HEOR/RWE, clinical research and development, clinical operations and patient recruiting, to provide general capabilities overviews and present customized applications of research and medical affairs capabilities in support of key business objectives and market dynamics for selected products and projects.
