What You Will Do:
- Prepare, plate, serve, and transport food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public.
- Responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns.
- Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.
- Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
- No experience required.
- Requires knowledge of basic food safety; infection control and sanitation. Serve Safe training may be required, depending on location. ISDOH certification of Food handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some locations.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred.
- Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
