About the role
The Director of Sales will be accountable for making sales directly to existing and potential clients to meet and exceed sales goals. This will include developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue for COPE Health Solutions and its population health analytics platform Analytics for Risk Contracting (ARC). The Sales Representative will work closely with the marketing team, providing input on market trends and feedback from sales processes to ensure that thought leadership, website and public relations are supporting targeted sales efforts. The Sales Representative will work closely with account management and subject expert team members across the value based care division of the firm in order to drive sales targets and leads through to proposal and sale.

- Develop new sales targets and leads and drive them down the funnel to make sales.
- Engage in required activities to meet or exceed sales targets, which includes developing strategies for developing new business, managing key potential client relationships, and ensuring that every step of the sales process is executed with the required materials and/or team support in order to articulate the right use cases and ROI generation required to close a sale.
- Provide feedback to marketing team on thought leadership, marketing materials, website updates, PR and related information/activities required to support sales success.
- Contribute to a culture of sales success and goal achievement.
- Directly engage in and support account teams and SMEs in the successful cross-sell of various lines of business and services to existing clients.
- Manage potential and recently executed sale customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing to compile and use information and data related to customer and prospect interactions in order to improve sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product team to research and monitor customer, prospective markets and competitor data to propose strategies to introduce firm services to new or expand in existing markets.
- Leverage priority channel partner relationships to create more leads and close on more sales.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- The Sales Representative must be willing to travel extensively as needed in order to generate necessary sales. Must be able to effectively manage sales processes at the client and company level and support team members while maintaining excellent client rapport.
- Create opportunities for firm experts to showcase their technical expertise, past accomplishments, current work and firm successes, as well as to “get in front of” key decision makers and influencers in target clients.
- Leverage existing tools such as Salesforce, marketing materials and our website to improve firm visibility and generate leads.
- Advanced degree in an applicable field (MBA, MPH, MHA) strongly preferred
- 5-10 years of sales experience and a strong history of sales revenue achievement for related health care consulting, software and services
- A strong understanding of the health care industry, analytical thinking skills and a strong and dedicated work ethic are required
- Able to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible with work hours, able to travel, and be able to work evenings and weekends
