FirstChoice Leaders fill vital interim leadership roles across our nationwide healthcare system, providing support where it's needed most.

LOCATION: MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center

WEEKS: 13 Weeks with option to extend

HOURS: 40 Hours

Pay: $3200.00 Gross weekly plus $1300.00 stipend for travel if live 60+ miles from facility.

What you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the State of Iowa.
• Graduate of an accredited professional school.
• Bachelor Degree, requires
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of critical acute care experience.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• American Heart Association ACLS Certification.                                                                                                                      

Position Description:

Designated as leader for specified nursing unit, its patient population, and assigned staff. Assumes 24-hour responsibility, authority and accountability for all patient-care activities, unit operation, staff function and staff development. Provides patient care activities to patients of diverse ages.
