The ‘Large Corporates and Institutions’ (LC&I) business unit s Danske Bank’s largest and most sophisticated customers across the Nordics - and has a strong foundation of long-lasting customer relationships, a comprehensive range of product offerings, and high customer satisfaction. Since June 2023, we have embarked on an exciting journey with our new Forward ’28 strategy, aiming to become the leading wholesale bank in the Nordics. Our teamplays an important role in enabling the Senior Leadership team to navigate in a complex environment and take informed strategic decisions to meet our strategic commitments or course correct as necessary. As part of the Strategy & Transformation team, you will therefore have an important responsibility to keep the finger on the pulse on industry, competitor and customer trends to steer the strategic direction for the LC&I business.

The team
As a member of the LC&I Strategy & Transformation team, you will join a high profile, ambitious and diverse group of approximately twelve professionals who bring either external consultancy experience or notable internal expertise from within Danske Bank. We work with the general principle of “freedom with responsibility” – which empowers you to support projects and manage your assignments from day one, with ongoing support from leaders and colleagues. The team is operationally split into two different legs: Strategy & Insights and Strategy Execution Office. While each of the teams have different mandates, it is crucial that we closely collaborate to create true shareholder value from idea generation to the successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine and steer the long-term strategic direction for our LC&I business unit.
- Lead strategic projects by scoping, structuring and solving complex problems in close collaboration with subject matter experts across the bank.
- Develop and manage a detailed transformation roadmap, coordinating business planning efforts to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
- Clearly define and communicate program ambitions and intentions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Facilitate ad-hoc strategic deep-dives by driving interviews and workshops, analysing data, and structuring information to enable our Senior Leadership team to take important decisions.
- Help build the consulting toolbox for both colleagues within the team and across the organisation.

- Keen interest in building a consulting toolbox within the financial industry.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically to solve complex problems.
- Full proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Good PowerPoint and Excel skills.
