What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Electronic Hardware team in Canton, Michigan.  The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 12, 2025 to August 15, 2025.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Project Work: Assist with product development on Yazaki electronic projects by performing analysis and some simple circuit design.  Also, make recommendations to help improve the designs.
  • Success Metrics: An electronic design that meets all the product requirements through analytical analysis and simulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the hardware team specifically with the hardware supervisor or the high voltage principal hardware engineer.

 

What you will bring to the table:

  • Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
  • Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position (e.g., BSEE, BSEET).
  • Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Commitment: Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 12, 2025, and August 15, 2025
  • Technical Skills: Experience with analysis tools such as P-Spice, Ansys HFSS and PCB layout tools such as Xpedition is preferred.  Classes in transistor and FET theory are also a plus.
