Automotive Technician III

Tech CTransdev in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a C-Level Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gas/propane engines across various vehicles and equipment.  Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform repairs and replacements on engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies .
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on gas/propane engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications with the assistance a suppervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years recent progressive heavy equipment maintenance or four (4) years automotive mechanical experience required
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided  
• Mechanic’s Tool Set 
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.   

 Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
