DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Seasonal Office Support Specialist II provides administrative and operational support to the DCR Finance Team during peak seasonal periods.
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Support the DCR Finance Office in the processing of payments in the new Massachusetts state accounting system, Mosaic. In addition to basic accounting functions, this position will involve extensive online training for the new system.
Compile and maintain data, files, and databases as assigned, using both Mosaic and DCR Finance tracking systems.
Work with and provide indirect supervision of the budgeting and accounting transactions performed by one or more of the 37 DCR field cost centers, as assigned.
Provide support and expertise and create a collaborative relationship to facilitate overall agency operations and service delivery.
Respond to inquiries and provide information to internal and external contacts.
Communicate with fiscal staff regularly to ensure compliance with all state and agency fiscal policies and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
