Commercial Roofing Superintendent

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Citadel Roofing and Solar is a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing and solar  company with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction home builders throughout Northern California. Additionally, we now offer  commercial re-roofing, TI, repairs, and maintenance services for C&I customers throughout  California.  We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent with proven experience in various commercial roofing system applications. This position is field-based and includes  occasional overnight travel and reports to the Commercial Roofing Division Manager. 

Primary Position Responsibilities: 

• Schedule and supervise crews on multiple job sites and locations.

 • Coordinate, organize and visit projects. Inspect work to ensure compliance and quality  workmanship. 

• Order, coordinate and monitor delivery of proper materials. 

• Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. 

• Train field staff, with an emphasis on employee development and safety assurance 

• Maintain documentation of individual projects, identify variances, monitor budgets, and implement corrective action. 

• Comply with company safety standards and practices to promote a safe and clean work  environment. 

• Ensure weekly tailgate trainings are being done and appropriate paperwork is being completed  and turned in 

• Coordinate inspections as needed 

• Review and approve weekly payroll. 

• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

 • Minimum of 5 years’ commercial roofing experience required. 

• Bilingual - English/Spanish 

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills 

• Prior project management and quality assurance experience 

• Demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking. 

• Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills 

• Must be detail oriented. 

• Prior supervisory experience required. 

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications. 

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history 

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. 

• Occasional Travel and Overnights are required. 

• Additional duties as assigned.
