Position Overview
We are seeking an intelligence analyst/staff officer to provide support to the USSPACECOM J28 capabilities and requirements team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with combatant commands to understand and document their mission needs
- Uses working knowledge of the JCIDs process for accomplishing staff work
- Supports task management due outs and deadlines
- Participates in working groups, authors/edits position papers
- Collaborates with Intelligence analysts to identify requirements for space/counterspace issues
- Maintains awareness of ongoing efforts to satisfy requirements and deadlines
- Works with HQ SPACECOM, components, MAJCOMs, and IC to coordinate requirements and priorities
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly, or ability to obtain one before starting
Preferred Qualifications
- Desired Experience: At least 8 years of experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
